You learn when you can trust 'em, and when and why not to trust insurance companies in this business.
Well, to be more precise, it's like Sam Jackson in the movie "Jackie Brown."
When DeNiro asks him if he trusts the no-good Melanie, Jackson replies " I trust Melanie... to be Melanie."
So, you learn that insurance companies will watch out for themselves. After all, they have to make a profit, and stay in business, and pay their people, especially their CEO. And if you think they will consider your problems before their own, well then, you may be disappointed.
What this means is that you and I need to understand how they will protect themselves, and we need to watch out for our own interests just like they do.
